R&F proudly inaugurated our new Penrhos Warehouse at Anglesey Prosperity Parc, Holyhead, last week marking a major milestone in our ongoing efforts to streamline operations and enhance service delivery to Stena Line.
The new facility spans approximately 3,500 square meters and will serve as the central hub for R&F in the UK, eventually consolidating four smaller warehouses into one highly efficient operation. ‘This strategic move not only increases our capacity to handle larger volumes but also allows us to manage our stock with greater precision, reducing the risk of errors in order picking’ says Darren Brown, Deputy Operations & Supply Manager at R&F Travel Retail.
Focus on sustainability
By centralizing operations, we will significantly cut transportation costs – furthering our commitment to sustainability. With fewer shipments required and the ability to manage larger incoming volumes, Penrhos Warehouse is set to reduce our carbon footprint, aligning with our broader sustainability goals. With everything under one roof, we can not only streamline our operations but also deliver higher quality service to Stena Line while reducing our environmental impact.
